Create a sub-account in the chart of accounts
With sub-accounts, you split an account into several parts, for example a sub-account for purchases where the receipt has been lost. Each part gets the right settings, such as VAT and receipt requirement, without you having to create completely new accounts.
🔍 Example
| Main account | Sub-account | Description | Setting |
|---|---|---|---|
| Parking | 1 | Lost receipt | No receipt required and 0% VAT |
✅ The sub-account can be selected when doing the accounting and when splitting the accounting. It does not show separately in reports or export files.
👉 Applies to: administrators who set up the chart of accounts.
