Hide expenses or mileage allowance for users

If you only use expenses or only mileage allowance, you can hide the other option so that users only see what you use. The setting applies to the whole organization.

    ⚠️ For a user to be able to register expenses or mileage allowance, the option must be activated here and the user must have a license for expenses/mileage allowance.

    👉 Applies to: administrators who want to adapt Expense to the company policy.

    ⚙️ How to hide expenses or mileage allowance

    1. Go to Administrate > Settings > Misc.
    2. Clear Use mileage allowance or Use expenses.
    3. Click Save.

    ✅ The option is no longer visible to users.

    ⚠️ The setting affects all users in the organization.

    Can I hide expenses or mileage allowance for a single user?
    No, the setting applies to the whole organization.

    A user cannot register expenses or mileage allowance even though the option is activated. Why?
    The user needs a license for expenses/mileage allowance. See Buy more Expense licenses.

    Are expenses that are already registered affected?
    No, earlier registrations remain.

    Can I activate the option again?
    Yes, at any time.
