When you upload a receipt in the app, the web or by email, it is stored right away in the Expense digital archive. Expense reads the date, amount, VAT and supplier and stores the details together with the receipt image.

The receipts are stored for up to 10 years. After that, Expense may delete them, unless something else has been agreed with your company.
