Internal account bindings
With internal account bindings, you link internal accounts together, for example a cost center with certain projects. When the user chooses the cost center, the linked projects show at the top of the list. It is faster and leads to fewer mistakes.
🔍 How it works
| Term | Means | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Main account (parent code) | The internal account the binding starts from | Cost center 100 |
| Linked accounts (child codes) | Internal accounts that show first when the main account is chosen | Project A, B and C |
✅ The user chooses Cost center 100 and sees Project A, B and C at the top. The other projects are still further down the list.
👉 Applies to: administrators who have set up internal accounts.
