Pyramid import template: import persons

📥 What can you import?

The Pyramid format is only used for importing persons. Internal accounts are created as described in Step 2: Create and configure internal accounts.

👉 Applies to: administrators in companies that use Pyramid. If you do not use Pyramid, read Step 4: Add and invite users.

👤 Import persons

1. Go to Administrate > Persons.
2. Click the three dots.
3. Choose Import pyramid format. A window opens with the template, showing the format and column order.
4. Build your file according to the template and upload it.

✅ The users are created in Expense. The invitation is not sent automatically; you send it yourself when you are ready.

⚠️ Important for a successful import

• 📐 Follow the template exactly. The wrong column order can stop the import
• 🔍 Check that all mandatory fields are filled in
• 🧪 Test with a small file first and then import the rest

❓ Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

What happens if the file is formatted incorrectly?
The import can stop or give incorrect data in Expense. Correct the file and import it again.

Can I change details after the import?
Yes, you can change persons manually afterwards under Administrate > Persons.

Can I import internal accounts with the Pyramid format?
No, the Pyramid format is only for persons. See Step 2: Create and configure internal accounts.

Do the users get an invitation when they are imported?
No, you invite them yourself under Administrate > Invite users.
